Sodium Hypochlorite Electrolyzer is referred to as Mixed Metal Oxide (MMO) titanium anode or DSA (Dimensionally Stable Anode) and DSE (Dimensionally Stable Electrode).

To grant the titanium substrate with both good electric catalytic activity and electrical conductivity, precious metal coating is applied.

Features:

Sodium Hypochlorite Electrolyzer is very advantageous over other electrodes as it is highly stable in size, which guarantees the electrolytic cell operating under a stable voltage. Furthermore, its low operating voltage and power consumption enable it to reduce DC power consumption significantly, around 10%~ 10%.

Not only does titanium anode possess high anti-corrosion and long-lasting lifespan, but also it can avoid product contamination during the electrolyte process which graphite and lead anode cannot accomplish. In addition, its high current density, small overpotential and high catalytic activity significantly improve the production efficiency.Moreover,it overcomes the problem of deformation of the lead anode which leads to a short circuit during electrolysis.

Moreover, it is also easy to shape with a high degree of refinement. The best part is that the titanium substrate can be reused as well. Meanwhile, its lower overpotential helps with expelling surface bubbles and electrode bubbles easily, thereby reduce the voltage in the electrolytic cell effectively.

Technical Parameters:

The product has a uniform black coating surface with excellent properties, which include a high current efficiency, strong and low chlorine-evolution potential and long service life.

It offers working currents of 2000A/㎡~ 10000A/㎡ and operating temperatures of 25~80℃. The coating metals utilized range from Ru, Ru+Ir, Ru+ir+Sn, and rare earth+Ru, with ruthenium content at 8~35g/㎡ and coating thickness of 2~10μm.

The working environment for this product is suitable for a wide range of pH levels between 0 to 14.

Applications:

The chlor-alkali industry applies a diaphragm alkali legal system, where chlorate industry uses electrowinning to produce chlorine dioxide. Acidic water electrolysis and electrochemical sea water are also used to produce chlorine. Additionally, power plant circulating water sterilization can help control alga and electrowinning metal in chloride system is also possible using ionized water electrolysis and electrodialysis.
